NTL, Held Korea-Vietnam Trade Cooperation Seminar on 'CerviCARE® AI', AI Cervical Cancer Screening System

Hyeonsu Shin (Chairman, NTL Medical Institute) and Taehee Kim (CEO, NTL Healthcare Co., Ltd.) announced

that they successfully hosted the 'Korea-Vietnam Trade Cooperation and CerviCARE® AI Academic Seminar' on April 5th,

attended by about 100 key healthcare officials including the Vietnamese Ministry of Health, Trade Promotion Center, and Director of public hospitals.

 

Dr. Huynh Xuan Nghiem, Deputy Director of Hung Vuong Hospital, presented clinical cases using the CerviCARE® AI

from June 2023 to the present, and highly evaluated that " CerviCARE® AI has a higher sensitivity than cytology test,

and it is effective in early detection of cervical cancer as it allows real-time analysis on-site and telemedicine."

He also said that "the introduction of the CerviCARE® AI will greatly contribute to lowering the cervical cancer mortality rate of Vietnamese women

by providing economical and convenient AI cervical cancer screening services to women in remote and rural areas."

 



Vietnam's Ho Chi Minh City Television (HTV) reported on the use case of CerviCARE® AI, focusing on its unique innovation.

 





Professor Woong Ju, Director of Ewha Womans University Seoul Hospital, who was specially invited to the seminar

as part of the international cooperation between Korea and Vietnam, introduced Korea's advanced cervical cancer screening system

and mentioned the usefulness of CerviCARE® AI and the importance of AI data learning in the medical field.

 

In addition, the event featured a session to disseminate basic knowledge and techniques for preventing cervical cancer,

with certificates of completion awarded to obstetrics and gynecology specialists who completed the training.

A meaningful event was also held to donate 20 sets of CerviCARE® AI to public hospitals in 20 provinces in Vietnam.

 



A data center was established and a business agreement was signed to ensure the secure management of medical data in Vietnam,

with plans to collect and develop programs to supply various services throughout Vietnam.

 



Taehee Kim, CEO of NTL Healthcare, stated, “We are delighted to be able to introduce Korea's advanced technology to many hospitals in Vietnam

and will continue to make efforts to ensure that women can receive cervical cancer screenings safely and comfortably.”

based on cervical images accumulated over 28 years of domestic and international cervical cancer screening services provided by NTL.

 

It can analyze cervical cancer screening results within 5 seconds (1) and assist medical professionals in determining the direction of further treatment
