On the 1st, NTL Healthcare (CEO Tae-hee Kim) announced that they have signed a strategic business partnership agreement with Cardinal Health Korea (CEO Scott Brian Zimmerman) to strengthen their obstetrics and gynecology operations.

On the 28th of last month, NTL Healthcare signed a business agreement to expand the sales of the sequential compression device (SCD Sleeve) at the Cardinal Health Korea headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul. The agreement ceremony was attended by Tae-hee Kim, CEO of NTL Healthcare, Seung-je Jo, CEO of Cardinal Health Korea, and Jong-soo Han, director of Cardinal Health Korea.

The SCD Sleeve is a therapeutic material that prevents and treats lower limb edema, lower extremity varicose veins, and deep vein thrombosis (DVT) that occur before and after childbirth, thereby preventing patient deaths from pulmonary embolism (PE). The product provides customized pressure cycles for each patient according to the checked blood flow rate, providing sequential pressure on each area.

Through this agreement, the two companies will conduct joint marketing to strengthen their obstetrics and gynecology operations and focus on the sales of the SCD Sleeve.

Tae-hee Kim, CEO of NTL Healthcare, stated, "I am pleased that we can supply our products through a partnership with Cardinal Health, a global medical device distribution company. As interest in DVT has increased, I expect that our cooperation with Cardinal Health will contribute to promoting maternal health and a healthy life."

Meanwhile, NTL Healthcare, which introduced cervical magnification imaging and reading system in Korea in 1996, recently developed artificial intelligence (AI) image reading and screening system, 'CerviCARE® AI', which has learned from cervical cancer images big data.

In addition, NTL provides various screening services such as cancer screening for women, including cervical cancer screening, and plans to continuously develop and supply new products that can improve women's health.
