Establishing a foundation for expanding into Central Asia with Mongolia as the center
(AI Cervical Cancer Screening System, CerviCARE AI)
NTL Healthcare Co., Ltd. (CEO, Taehee Kim), a leading company in the field of artificial intelligence for cervical cancer, announced that it has signed a contract with "AI Medi Mongolia Co., Ltd." in Mongolia for the promotion of women's health and the full-scale implementation of AI services.
The cervical cancer screening service between NTL Healthcare and Mongolia started in 2017 as part of the Korean Foundation for International Healthcare (KOFIH) project to strengthen Mongolia's healthcare workforce and IT system. In the field of cervical cancer screening, NTL Healthcare's TeleCerviography® system was selected and has been used until now.
From April 2017 to May 2023, a total of 10,942 Mongolian women have been screened through the TeleCerviography system, with approximately 3,000 cases testing positive and 240 cases diagnosed with cancer, leading to prompt treatment at the National Cancer Center and National Maternity Hospital in Mongolia. This project has been evaluated as the most exemplary ODA project conducted in Mongolia and was published in the Pediatrics Reports journal in 2021 under the theme "Overview of Telemedicine Services in Mongolia."

Enkhmaa, Deputy Director of the National Maternity Hospital in Mongolia, stated, "The Dr.Cervicam WiFi model set up in 2017 is still being used effectively, and telemedicine services have been very helpful to Mongolian women. In particular, through the introduction of advanced CerviCARE® AI service, women in rural and mountainous areas can also easily, conveniently, and economically receive AI cervical cancer diagnosis services, contributing greatly to reducing the cervical cancer mortality rate among Mongolian women."
N. Erdenekhuu, Director of the National Cancer Center in Mongolia, expressed great expectations for the entry of the cervical cancer screening system into the Mongolian market, emphasizing active support and cooperation with the health authorities.
