Tae-hee Kim, CEO of NTL Healthcare, a leading pioneer in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) for cervical cancer, announced that she was specially invited to participate in the 'TGCS Annual Meeting 2023' held in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

TGCS is an international academic conference organized by the Thai Society of Gynecologic Oncology, with the theme "Improvement for Better Health in Gynecologic Cancers." The conference held from August 4th to 6th, for 3 days, and was attended by over 300 gynecologic oncology specialists.
The highlight of this conference was the special lecture on CerviCARE®, an AI-based cervical cancer early screening medical device that utilizes big data and provides results with high sensitivity within seconds.

Professor Woong Ju from Ewha Womans University Seoul Hospital, who was invited as a special guest lecturer at the Luncheon Symposium that lasted for an hour, gave a presentation on the topic of "The usefulness of CerviCARE® AI system as a cervical cancer screening." He mentioned the learning and utilization of AI data in the medical field.

In particular, he emphasized the need for thorough validation and responsibility in the use of AI in the medical field, as biased data learning can lead to accountability for the results. He said, "CerviCARE® AI developed by NTL not only yields high accuracy and fast results based on validated data but also distinguishes between normal and abnormal results, providing information on morphological abnormalities. It is an AI software screening medical device approved by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, and I believe it will be a great help to women suffering from cervical cancer worldwide, including Thailand."

Meanwhile, NTL, a leading global company in the field of cervical cancer screening, has been leading the domestic and international market for cervical cancer screening medical devices for 27 years. NTL has signed export contracts with countries including Mongolia, Vietnam, Costa Rica, and Brazil, and are conducting research in accordance with the cervical cancer screening guidelines of each country, solidifying their position as a global leader in this field.
