NTL, AI Cervical Cancer Screening System 'CerviCARE® AI' Held Academic Seminar in Mongolia

Expected to contribute to reducing

cervical cancer mortality rate

among Mongolian women

through high sensitivity and

rapid early screening in the field

 


NTL Healthcare, a provider of

announced the successful completion of

an academic seminar attended by over 100

Mongolian gynecologic oncologists,

including Ts. Urjindelger,

President of the Mongolian Society

of Obstetrics and Gynecology,

and Sh. Tserensambuu,

Director of the National Maternity Hospital.

 

 

D. Enkhmaa, Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology

at the National Maternity Hospital,

presented the research on

NTL Healthcare's Telemedicine system

from April 2017 to May 2023,

stating that "TeleCervicography

has higher sensitivity

compared to cervical cytology,

making it a necessary system

for Mongolia and Central Asia."

 

 

She further emphasized that

"the introduction of

advanced CerviCARE® AI services

will allow women in remote

and mountainous regions to economically

and conveniently receive

AI-based cervical cancer screening services,

greatly contributing to reducing

cervical cancer mortality

among Mongolian women."

 

 

In particular, B. Tsevelmaa,

a consultant in public health

for the WHO Mongolia,

evaluated CerviCARE® AI by NTL Healthcare

as a good example of AI healthcare services

in Mongolia and forecasted its rapid spread

even in countries with high cervical cancer incidence rates.

 

 

As part of the international cooperation seminar

between Korea and Mongolia,

Professor Woong Ju

from Ewha Woman University Seoul Hospital

introduced Korea's advanced cervical cancer screening system,

highlighting the usefulness of CerviCARE® AI

and the active utilization of AI data learning

in the medical field.

 

 

Dr. M. Oyudari, a gynecologic oncologist

at SM Hospital in Mongolia,

emphasized the necessity of

an AI-based cervical cancer screening system

in Mongolia through case studies of

CerviCARE® AI System application in Mongolia.
