Cervical cancer is a very common type

of cancer among women.

The Department of Health

in Ho Chi Minh City announced

that they will soon test

the application of artificial intelligence (AI)

in cervical cancer screenings

at specialized obstetrics and gynecology hospitals

such as Hung Vuong Hospital and Tu Du Hospital.

Hung Vuong and Tu Du Hospitals are planning

to apply AI in cancer screenings.

According to the Department of Health

increase the chances of successful treatment,

minimize treatment costs and time,

and improve access to medical services.

According to Globocan, in 2020,

cervical cancer accounted for 2.3%

of all new cancer cases in Vietnam,

The mortality rate due to cervical cancer
